Internal design is just as important.  Protective materials have been added to ReSound X-plore to minimize the effects of humidity, moisture and jarring.  Anti-corrosion protective coating is applied to all internal components.  The volume control and push button are rubber-sealed to protect against humidity and dirt.  And, extended battery life is possible through power-saving chip technology: up to 330 hours from one size 13 battery.
